How do I collaborate with a professional stylist?


Need a little help tying pieces together from your specialty boutiques? Perhaps assistance in choosing the right items for your home? Our professional stylists are here to help you every step of the way!


  • Step 1: Browse your personalized boutiques and add items to your favorites and provide feedback on products you like or the one’s we didn’t get quite right (you can provide detailed feedback in the product pages). 
  • Step 2. At the bottom of the boutique, click “contact a stylist” to get free professional styling help. Provide information about your needs and pertinent information about the space. To qualify for free styling, you must upload photos of your space via the website or through SMS to 206-531-7611
  • Step 3: You will receive your ‘Stylist Picks’ on the next business day. (What are ’Stylist Picks’?) Stylist Picks are a designer curated and personalized set of items that takes into account the specific needs of your home. It includes some of your favorite items and other items that your stylist thinks will complete your room. Let’s shop together!
  • Step 4: Time to shop! You can save any items from your Stylist Picks and Boutiques to your favorites, add to your shopping cart and check out. We’ll handle the rest. If you would like to see a few additional suggestions, you can rate items by clicking on thumbs up and thumbs down on the product detail and let us know why over chat! We understand sometimes adjustments need to be made. It’s all good!
  • Step 5: Sit back, relax and wait for your items to arrive. Reach out to your stylist any time with questions and concerns or if you’re ready to start work on a new space! Refer a friend and get $50 off!

What does the free professional stylist service include?


We curate a set of product recommendations that are specific to your style, your home and your unique needs. After you specify the items and room you're shopping for, you upload photos of your space. Your stylist will begin looking for personalized recommendations from our catalog of over 50 everyday affordable luxury brands. 


Your stylist will send you their recommendations and ask you to rate and give feedback on each item. Afterwards, if needed, we fine tune your recommendations. Next, add the items you love to the shopping cart and check out. We take care of the rest.

How much is the styling fee?

Styling is always free! But uploading photos of your space is required to get started.


Why are room photos required for styling service?

Our stylists use room photos to help identify styles and dimensions for the items they will recommend and that it ties perfectly to what you’ve already got. We want to make sure we can find items you love that really work in your space. Don't worry about your house looking messy in the photo! We don't care - we live beautifully busy lives too!


Can I get a text notification?

After you request Stylist Picks, you can chat with your stylist and send photos via either the website stylist chat or SMS. Just give your phone number after clicking on “request styling help” and fulfilling further details about your room, your budgets and needs!



What if I don't find something I love from Spruce Up?

Our goal is to make sure you are delighted! Just tune your style more by rating products in our style tuner until you see your style dial fitting your style. Then go on and refresh your boutiques and rate more items. Remember, the more feedback you provide, the better personalized the experience becomes. Finally, you can also connect with your stylist via “Connect with a stylist” to request more personalized recommendations or let them know what you are looking for. 



How does price matching work?

If you find one of our items for a lower price elsewhere, we will match that price. Read more about Spruce Up’s price matching policy



How do I track my shipment?

When your order is processed, you will receive an email containing a tracking number and confirmation that your package has been shipped. Access your Order History and tracking information at any time under “Your Account”. Read more about Spruce Up’s shipping policy



How do you charge for shipping?

We charge a standard 10% for shipping. An additional fee of $100 may be charged to orders containing oversized products. Read more about Spruce Up’s shipping policy


What is the return policy?


Our 100% joy guarantee means that we want you to love your purchase, so if you need to return an item for any reason we’re here to make it easy. We will provide you with a complimentary return shipping label when a return is requested within 30 days of receiving your purchase. All items must be unused and sent back in the original packaging. If your item is marked as “Final Sale” or “Made to Order”, it is not eligible for return. We do not refund original shipping charges. Read more about Spruce Up’s return policy
